Mythic Royale March Finale for Fortnite live this weekend

As the lockdown in South Africa gets underway, online esports and gaming is doing its best to keep local players active. This weekend – Saturday (28 March) evening to be exact – sees the March finale in the Mythic Royale series for Fortnite.
The series is brought to life by ACGL and their partners MSI, Redragon and Sparkfox. In the March duos finale, there is R6,000 cash up for grabs, with 35 teams scheduled to do battle. The action will be streamed live on the ACGL YouTube channel. Registered ACGL users can watch the finale on the Mythic Royale page which will unlock a new Avatar kit for use on their profile. Unlocking the Avatar will also get you into a draw for a 1TB X8 Crucial External SSD (valued at R3,500). Nick Holden and Alex ‘Airo’ Wrigley will be on casting duties for the stream.
How it Works
The finale will host five custom Arena Fortnite matches, with the teams competing against each other. They will be awarded points for placement and a Victory Royale.
The points breakdown is as follows:
- Win: 10 Points
- 2nd – 5th : 7 Points
- 6th – 15th : 5 Points
- 16th – 25th : 3 Points
- 26th – 35th: 1 Point
- Each elimination: 1 Point
The top four duos based on accumulated points after the five matches will secure the following prizes:
- 1st Place: R3,000
- 2nd Place: R1,500
- 3rd Place: R1,000
- 4th Place: R500
