MTN SHIFT Gaming Experience at Woodlands Mall this weekend
In partnership with MTN, alongside sponsors such as Toyota, PC Builder, Computer Mania, and Redragon, South African tournament organizer, African Cyber Gaming League (ACGL) is bringing the action to eight different Hyprop shopping centres over a period of four months, and this weekend, it’s the Woodlands Mall in Pretoria. Let’s get into the details.
SHIFT Gaming Experience at Woodlands
The MTN SHIFT Gaming Experience at Woodlands Mall takes place in Woodlands Boulevard, Pretoriuspark, Pretoria, 0042. It runs this weekend, from 19 to 21 July 2024. First up, the EA FC 24 Woodlands qualifier final takes place on Sunday, 21 July 2024.
Woodlands Qualifier Prizes:
- 1st Place – R2500 WoodlandsGift Card
- 2nd Place – R1500 Woodlands Gift Card
- 3rd Place – R1000 Woodlands Gift Card

- Mall Final (28 players from heats and 4 players from online qualifier)
There’s also a keyboard rebuild race from Redragon, a PC gaming experience from PCBuilder, Beatsaber action, a Supersprint event from TTGE, a Computer Mania pop-up shop, and MUCH more to discover. Following all the EA FC 24 events, the National Final of the MTN SHIFT Gaming Experience 2024 will take place in Cape Town at the Canal Walk. The eight finalists from each mall competition will compete for their share of the R50,000 prize pool, with the following prize pool distribution:
- 1st Place: R25,000
- 2nd Place: R15,000
- 3rd Place: R7,500
- 4th Place: R2,500
