Doritos Crunch Cup VR League at CCCT 2024

Thanks to the “coolest snack brand in South Africa,” Doritos SA, in partnership with Comic Con Cape Town 2024, we have the Doritos Crunch Cup VR League to look forward to this year, from 27 April to 2 May 2024. Here’s what you need to know!

Doritos Crunch Cup VR League details

To join in, you need to head to the Doritos Crunch Zone on Level 2 of the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC). Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you area a Comic Con Cape Town 2024 ticket holder, registration to the Doritos crunch Cup VR League is free.

Participants are invited to “step inside of this Beat Saber experience like never before,” and to sweeten the deal even further; you can win your share of the R10,000 prize pool.

The tournament organizers explain: “While you play, colossal screens display you, literally in the game, from a third-person perspective – welcoming everyone from beginners to pros! Don’t miss out on this unforgettable experience where everyone can dive into VR gaming.”

But wait…there’s more…there’s always more! You can also build your own “super character” in the Doritos areas, taking cosplay to th next level. We can’t wait to try it out.

Remember, you will have to be at the CTICC and purchase a ticket to Comic Con Africa Cape Town to be able to participate. There is, of course, no way to compete from the comfort of your home, so see you there!
