Crossfire EWC 2025 viewer’s guide
With the final few tournaments of the Esports World Cup 2025 mega-event taking place this week, we are excited to see the tactical FPS, Crossfire, feature front and centre with a huge prize pool. Here’s what you should know so you don’t miss a second of the action.
EWC 2025 Crossfire details
The Crossfire tournament at EWC 2025 takes place at the SNB Esports Arena, Boulevard Riyadh City, Saudi Arabia. Teams are competing for their share of the massive $2 million prize pool. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that’s roughly R35 million on the line!
The EWC 2025 Crossfire tournament takes place on LAN, from 19 to 23 August 2025. There are 16 teams competing, all starting in the Group Stage. The Group Stage runs from 19 to 21 August, featuring four groups of four teams each. The format is GSL-style BO3, with the top two from each group advancing to the Playoffs Stage.
In the Playoffs Stage, the remaining eight teams will compete in a single-elimination bracket, where the Quarterfinals and Semifinals matches are BO3, and the Grand Final is BO5.
