ACGL Free Fire League featuring R10,000 cash announced

South African tournament operators African Cyber Gaming League (ACGL), has announced the Free Fire 2024 League featuring a R10,000 cash prize pool. The details of series can be found below.

ACGL Free Fire 2024 League Details

The ACGL Free Fire League will feature five weeks of qualifiers leading to a grand finale. Each qualifying week can handle around 72 teams of four, who will compete for points to secure their spot in the top 12. Entry is free and open to teams across Africa.

Schedule

Each qualifier kicks off at 19h00 South African Standard Time, with teams needing to check-in the hour before. The grand finale gets underway at 14h00 on Sunday the 7th of December and will be streamed to ACGL’s YouTube and TikTok channels.

Prize Pool Breakdown

The R10,000 cash prize pool will be split across the top four teams as follows:

  • 1st Place: R5,000
  • 2nd Place: R2,500
  • 3rd Place: R1,500
  • 4th Place: R1,000

Additional Information

For additional details on points, rosters and formats, Free Fire players can head to the ACGL tournament pages. An important point to note is that teams will be allowed to make a change to their roster each week, as long as it is communicated and approved by the ACGL admin team.
