Your complete guide to LPL 2026 Split 2

Are you hyped for a flurry of League of Legends (LoL) esports season action from China? Well, ready or not, here comes the LoL Pro League (LPL) Split 2 event. Let’s blink in and discuss the most important details so fans don’t miss a second of the action.

LPL 2026 Split 2 details

Organized by TJ Sports, the LPL 2026 Split 2 event takes place across multiple locations in China, on LAN. The event kicks off on 4 April and runs into early June.

There are 14 teams competing for their share of the ¥2,800,000 prize pool. That’s approximately $405,000, which translates to about R7 million. The main goal and prize for most of the teams competing, however, is the two spots at the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) 2026 event. Further, the winner of LPL 2026 Split 2 gets to represent their region at EWC 2026 in Saudi Arabia.

Teams competing:
  • Anyone’s Legend
  • Bilibili Gaming
  • EDward Gaming
  • Invictus Gaming
  • JD Gaming
  • LGD Gaming
  • LNG Esports
  • Ninjas in Pyjamas
  • Oh My God
  • Team WE
  • ThunderTalk Gaming
  • Top Esports
  • Ultra Prime
  • Weibo Gaming

It all begins with a Regular Season, where teams are split into two groups based on overall LPL performance. While the top teams from the regular season will go straight through to the Knockout Stage, eight will have to fight in Knights Rivals matches to determine which four join the top contenders in the Knockout Stage.

Once the dust settles over the Regular Season, LPL 2026 Split 2 comes to a conclusion with the Knockout Stage, where there’s a double-elimination bracket format, featuring the Fearless Draft system, and all matches are best-of-five.
