Gen.G wins LCK Cup 2026 to qualify for First Stand
For the past couple of months, the best League of Legends (LoL) teams from around the globe have been competing in their regional leagues to represent their regions at First Stand 2026. Let’s take a look at what happened in the LCK Cup 2026, arguably the strongest of all regions.
LCK Cup 2026 results
Gen.G Esports wasted no time making their presence felt, going 5-0 in Group Baron, alongside the defending world champions, T1. In Group Elder, it was FEARX who narrowly came out on top, with Dplus chomping at their heels.
The Playoffs Stage saw Gen.G continue their dominance, beating Dplus with a convincing 3-1 score, and FEARX with another 3-1 to make it ot the Grand Final, thereby already qualifying for First Stand.
FEARX started their journey by beating SOOPers 3-2, then taking out favorites T1 with a 3-1 scoreline. After getting sent down to the lower bracket by Gen.G, FEARX bounced back to beat Dplus 3-0 for a spot in the Grand Final.
In the LCK Cup 2026 Grand Final, Gen.G didn’t give FEARX a single chance, dominating their opponents for a 3-0 victory.
Congratulations go to Gen.G and FEARX for qualifying for First Stand, beating out all the incredible competition, including the likes of T1, DRX, and Dplus. Gen.G’s Kim “Canyon” Geon-bu earns the MVP award.
