ATK Tekken Friday Fight Night tonight with R1,000 prize pool
There’s another ATK Tekken Friday Fight Night taking place at ATK Arena‘s venue in Cape Town tonight, 22 April 2022, thanks to Monster Energy RSA and PUMA South Africa. Here’s what you need to know about the latest Tekken Friday Fight Night if you are in or around the area.
ATK Tekken Friday Fight Night details
The latest ATK Tekken Friday Fight Night takes place tonight, 22 April 2022 with doors opening at 18:00. The tournament bracket begins at 18:30 sharp, and there’s an R50 entry fee.
This gets you into the venue and into the tournament. You can register via the tournament’s Smash.gg page. The event is expected to run until roughly 21:00 SAST. You can also purchase tickets at the door.
Settings and rules:
- Rounds: 3 out of 5.
- Time Limit: 60 seconds.
- Stage: Random.
- Character Customizations: Off.
- Character Preset Costumes are legal for Tournament use with the exception of the following: Jack-7 Preset 3 & 4 cannot be used. Gigas Preset 3 cannot be used.
- When losing, players can either choose to change the stage OR change their character. If a player changes character the next game’s stage will be Random.
- Rock/Paper/Scissors is played before the game to determine which side each player will sit on.
ATK Arena explains: “Join us on Friday 22nd April for Cape Town’s bi-weekly Tekken fight night! We will be running a get-together and tournament bracket. Players of all skill levels are welcome, come down and get some games in. Tournament participation is not compulsory, we will have casual games going as well. Are you just getting started in Tekken or a WiFi warrior with little offline experience? We’d love to meet you! Please introduce yourself to a T.O at the event and they’ll help you out.”

Prize pool distribution:
- 1st place – R500
- 2nd place – R300
- 3rd place – R200
Participants are advised to bring their own fight stick or PS4 controller and a cable as there is a limited number to lend.
