MTN SHIFT Gaming Experience at Table Bay Mall this weekend
South African tournament organizer, African Cyber Gaming League (ACGL), in partnership with MTN, alongside sponsors such as Toyota, PC Builder, Computer Mania, and Redragon, continue to deliver fantastic in-person events at participating Hyprop Malls. This weekend, it’s time to visit Table Bay Mall for the latest MTN SHIFT Gaming Experience.
MTN SHIFT Gaming at Table Bay Mall
The MTN SHIFT Gaming Experience at Table Bay Mall runs from 9 to 11 August 2024, featuring an EA FC 24 qualifier for a huge national finals, and a host of other in-person events and tournaments to compete in.
The EA FC 24 qualifier final takes place this Sunday, 11 August 2024. The winner will go through to the National Final, taking place on 15 September 2024 at Canal Walk Shopping Centre in Cape Town, where they will compete for their share of the R50,000 prize pool. Check out the qualifier’s prize pool distribution below.
Table Bay Qualifier Prizes:
- 1st Place – R2500 Table Bay Mall Gift Card
- 2nd Place – R1500 Table Bay Mall Gift Card
- 3rd Place – R1000 Table Bay Mall Gift Card
But that’s not all! There’s a keyboard rebuild race from Redragon, a PC gaming experience from PCBuilder, Beatsaber action, a Supersprint event from TTGE, a Computer Mania pop-up shop, and MUCH more to discover, including Brawlhalla, Tekken and Street Fighter tournaments.

Following all the EA FC 24 events, the National Final of the MTN SHIFT Gaming Experience 2024 will take place in Cape Town at the Canal Walk. The eight finalists from each mall competition will compete for their share of the R50,000 prize pool, with the following prize pool distribution:
- 1st Place: R25,000
- 2nd Place: R15,000
- 3rd Place: R7,500
- 4th Place: R2,500
