Xtreme Gaming demolishes TI 2025 China Closed Qualifier
Following the South American and Eastern European Closed Qualifiers for The International 2025, the next one to finish up was China! Boasting some powerful Dota 2 esports teams who didn’t get a direct invite, the Chinese Closed Qualifier didn’t disappoint. Here’s how things went down.
Xtreme Gaming wins TI 2025 China Closed Qualifier
In the Upper Bracket of the double-elimination bracket, Xtreme Gaming made their presence felt loud and clear with a huge 2-0 over Vici Gaming to kick off proceedings.
Xtreme Gaming then went on to beat another huge contender, Azure Ray, with 2-0 as well, before reverse-sweeping Yakult Brothers in the Upper Bracket Final. Yakult Brothers bounced back in the Lower Bracket Final to reverse sweep Tearlaments, claiming a spot in the Grand Final.
In the best-of-five Grand Final, Xtreme Gaming didn’t give Yakult Brothers an inch. With three strong wins in a row, Xtreme Gaming demolished Yakult Brothers, with a final score of 3-0, which means they get a coveted spot in The International 2025. Congratulations!
