Sinister5 and Lobbsta announced the Dota 2 Empower Cup during October. The tournament is an initiative which sees the Masters players coaching non-Masters teams in an effort to get newer players engaging in the scene. The tournament begins officially on 1 December. With the prize pool being offered to the coaches rather than the players, we can expect the coaches to be offering their knowledge to the players in an effort that should ensure improvement in up-and-coming players.
