Western Europe is one of the strongest Dota 2 esports regions, so we are excited about its The International 2022 regional qualifier. Taking place this week, no Dota 2 esports fan should miss out on The International 2022’s Western Europe qualifier. Here’s what you need to know.

TI 2022 Western Europe qualifier details

DPC teams not part of the 12 Dota 2 esports squads directly qualified through DPC points for The International 2022 are competing in the Western Europe regional qualifier for one singular spot at the massive, annual event and a shot at redemption.

The International 2022’s Western Europe regional qualifier runs this week, from 13 to 17 September. The tournament features a double-elimination bracket. All matches are best-of-three, except the grand final, which is best-of-five. 12 teams are competing, including the likes of Team Secret, Nigma Galaxy, Team Liquid, Alliance and more.

First place gets a spot at The International 2022. The 2nd and 3rd-placed teams will make their way into the Last Chance qualifier, and the rest will miss out on The International 2022. The stakes couldn’t be any higher.
