FISSURE Universe Episode 4 Dota 2 viewer’s guide

Just as Team Liquid lifts the PGL Wallachia Season 3 trophy, another big Dota 2 esports event is about to begin. We can’t wait for the FISSURE Universe Episode 4 tournament, starting this Saturday, 22 March 2025. It promises a tonne of Dota 2 esports action with some top teams in attendance, so let’s take a look at the most important details.

FISSURE Universe Ep 4 details

FISSURE Universe Episode 4 is an online event taking place on the Europe West servers. It runs from 22 to 30 March 2025. The teams are competing for their share of the $500,000 prize pool. That’s quite a lot of money, clocking in at about R9.1 million at the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate.

From tournament organizer FISSURE, this is considered a Tier 1 Dota 2 event. Teams will first compete in one modified Swiss-system format Group Stage. Sixteen teams are competing, with the top eight advancing to the Playoffs and the rest getting eliminated. Check out the teams list below, sorted in no particular order.

The final eight teams will compete in a double-elimination bracket Playoffs. During the Playoffs Stage of FISSURE Universe Episode 4, all matches are best-of-three, with the exception of the Grand Final, which is best-of-five.
