ESL One Birmingham 2026 viewer’s guide
As the dust settles over PGL Wallachia Season 7, another massive Dota 2 esports tournament is about to start. We are, of course, talking about the highly anticipated ESL One Birmingham 2026. Here’s what fans must know so they don’t miss any of the action.
ESL One Birmingham 2026 details
Dota 2 esports fans can mark their calendars for ESL One Birmingham 2026, which takes place from 22 to 29 March 2026. The tournament is considered an S-Tier event, where the best in the business compete. The Playoffs Stage will take place in front of a crowd at the bp pulse LIVE venue, situated just outside Birmingham, England.
There are 16 teams competing at ESL One Birmingham 2026, all fighting for the huge $1 million prize pool. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that’s roughly R16.3 million.

The tournament features two single Round Robin groups of eight teams each. All series in this stage of the competition consist of two games. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Upper Bracket of the Playoffs Stage. 3rd and 4th place teams advance to the Lower Bracket of the Playoffs Stage, and the rest are eliminated.
The ESL One Birmingham 2026 Playoffs Stage features a double-elimination bracket, with a best-of-five Grand Final. All other matches are best-of-three.
