BLAST Slam III results & final standings
Over the past weekend, we saw the best Dota 2 esports teams in the world compete for their share of the huge $1 million prize pool, in front of a crowd at the BLAST Studio venue in Copenhagen, Denmark. Tundra Esports claims the crown
It was a wild ride at the BLAST Slam III event, with 10 teams first competing in a Group Stage, followed by the single-elimination Playoffs Stage. Teams earned their spot in the Playoffs bracket thanks to their placement in the Group Stage, which meant that Team Falcons (topping Group A) got a spot directly in the Semifinals, and beat Team Spirit 2-0 to make it to the Grand Final.
Tundra Esports topped Group B with a 3-1 scoreline and then proceeded to smash Gaimin Gladiators with a 2-0 scoreline in the Semifinals to make their way to the Grand Final. In the Grand Final of BLAST Slam III, Tundra Esports didn’t waste any time to smash Team Falcons with a 3-1 score to win the event and lift the coveted trophy.
