At the Riyadh Masters 2024 Play-In stage and Group Stage, fans were treated to some top-tier Dota 2 esports action, with thrilling matches across the board as teams got whittled down for the playoffs, which took place from 16 to 21 July 2024.

In the upper bracket of the playoffs, Team Liquid got off to an exceptional start, beating Team Spirit with a convincing 2-0 and then beating Tundra Esports 2-1 before getting knocked down to the lower bracket by Gaimin Gladiators.
Team Liquid, led by Neta “33” Shapira, bounced back in the lower bracket with an exceptional win against Team Falcons on their home ground, knocking one of the favorites out of the tournament and making it look easy to get to the grand finale of Riyadh Masters 2024.
To make it to the grand finale, Gaimin Gladiators beat Entity 2-0 and then reverse-sweeped Team Falcons in dramatic fashion and knocked Team Liquid to the curb with a clean 2-0 win.
In the Grand Final of Riyadh Masters 2024, Gaimin Gladiators continued their monstrous performance, giving Team Liquid no room to move and no hope. Gaimin Gladiators won Riyadh Masters 2024 with an extremely convincing 3-0 in the Grand Final.
Congratulations to Gaimin Gladiators for winning Riyadh Masters 2024 and the lion’s share of the prize pool at $1,500,000. Team Liquid earned a healthy $800,000 in prize money as the runners-up.
