Games of the Future 2024 Dota 2 esports results
Over the past weekend, 16 Dota 2 esports teams, including some of the best in the world, competed at the Kazan Expo in Russia during the Games of the Future 2024 event for a huge prize pool. In case you missed it, we’ve got you covered with the results.
Games of the Future 2024 results
We saw the group stage of Games of the Future 2024 mostly dominated by Chinese teams, with LGD Gaming on top of Group A, Invictus Gaming on top of Group B, Xtreme Gaming on top of Group C, and PSG Quest on top of Group D. During this stage of the competition, four teams (bottom of each group) got eliminated.
From 21 to 24 February, ending at night on Saturday, Games of the Future 2024 came to a thrilling conclusion in its single-elimination bracket format. It was the Chinese powerhouse Xtreme Gaming who barreled through the playoffs, reverse-sweeping Azure Ray 2-1, beating BOOM Esports 2-0, and then sweeping LGD Gaming under the rug with a 2-0 in the finals to win Games of the Future 2024.
In the third-place decider match, Invictus Gaming reverse-swept BOOM Esports, making the top three Chinese teams at Games of the Future 2024.
Final results & standings
- 1st place – Xtreme Gaming wins $350,000.
- 2nd place – LGD Gaming wins $160,000.
- 3rd place – Invictus Gaming wins $120,000.
- 4th place – BOOM Esports wins $70,000.
- 5th to 8th place – Neon Esports, Azure Ray, Entity and PSG Quest win $35,000 each
- 9th to 12th place – Winter Bear, beastcoast, Geek Fam, and Thunder Awaken win $25,000 each.
- 13th to 16th place – One Move, HYDRA, Echpo4mak and L1ga Team win $15,000 each.
