As one of the final big Dota 2 esports events of the year, DreamLeague Season 24 didn’t disappoint, with a thrilling conclusion on 10 November 2024. Let’s dive in and discuss what went down at DreamLeague Season 24, complete with a highlight video of the grand finale.

Since October, the best 16 Dota 2 teams across the globe competed online for their share of the huge $1 million prize pool, and the honor of calling themselves DreamLeague Season 24 champions. Take a look at the video below to find out what happened, or continue reading, or both!

While Team Falcons topped the leaderboard in Group Stage 1, the favorites dropped down and almost didn’t even make it past Group Stage 2, narrowly claiming a 4th-place while BetBoom Team was on a roll.

In the playoffs, Team Falcons bounced back and proved why they are considered the best team in the world right now, beating PARIVISION with a clean 2-0 sweep.

In the Upper Bracket final, BetBoom Team reverse-swept Team Spirit in dramatic fashion to make it to the grand finale of DreamLeague Season 24.

Team Falcons then knocked out Team Spirit with another clean 2-0 victory to face off against BetBoom Team in the grand finale.

In the DreamLeague Season 24 best-of-five grand final, Team Falcons got off to a good start, winning the first game. However, BetBoom Team responded with a win to tie up the score after an intense 41-minute slugfest.

Team Falcons recovered spectacularly and managed to win the next two games in dominating fashion, giving BetBoom Team no room to breath and claiming the trophy with a 3-1 score in the grand finale.

Congratulations go out to Team Falcons for winning DreamLeague Season 24 in style and winning the lion’s share of the prize pool at $300,000, while BetBoom Team limps away with $175,000 in prize money.
