At BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024, we saw some surprising results as the best Dota 2 esports teams in the world competed at the One&Only Royal Mirage venue in the United Arab Emirates, Dubai, for their share of the $1 million prize pool. Here’s what went down!

Eight teams made it through the Group Stage, with Chinese teams LGD Gaming and Xtreme Gaming topping their respective groups. The playoffs, however, were a completely different story, as both the group leaders got knocked down to the lower bracket in the first round.

Team Liquid, after getting beaten 2-1 by Azure Ray in the first round, made a magnificent lower bracket run at BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024, beating Xtreme Gaming 2-0, Gaimin Gladiators 2-1, taking a 2-0 revenge on Azure Ray, and then reverse-sweeping BetBoom Team to make it to the grand final.

Team Falcons’ upper bracket run was even more impressive, led by Jingjun “Sneyking” Wu and an on-form team including the legendary Andreas “Cr1t-” Nielsen, showing they have what it takes to crush any opponent.

Team Falcons beat Xtreme Gaming 2-0, then went on to reverse-sweep Azure Ray 2-1 and reverse-sweep BetBoom Team 2-1 to claim a spot in the grand final of BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024.

In the grand final, it was a one-sided affair, with Team Falcons smashing Team Liquid 3-0 in dominating fashion, ending the lower bracket comeback.

A big congratulations go out to Team Falcons for their incredible performance at BetBtoom Dacha Dubai 2024. They walk away with the first-place prize of $400,000!
