Last year at IEM Dallas 2022, Cloud9 swept ENCE under the rug in the grand final to claim the trophy. This year, ENCE could not be denied the IEM Dallas 2023 crown. Here’s what went down at IEM Dallas 2023 for those CS:GO esports fans that couldn’t watch the action live.

IEM Dallas 2023 came to a thrilling conclusion on Sunday, 4 June 2023, as teams competed in the playoffs at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, US, Dallas, for their share of the $250,000 prize pool. The previous year’s winners, Cloud9, could not make it through the group stage, but the 2022 finalists, ENCE, were definitely on form.

After ending first in Group B, ENCE pulled off an incredible comeback against FaZe Clan with a 2-1 reverse sweep. On the final map, Ancient, the teams went through five overtimes, and ENCE finally won 31-28 on the incredibly exciting map.

Following the gruelling matchup against FaZe Clan, ENCE took out MOUZ in the finals with a relatively clean 2-0 win. In the grand final, ENCE beat MOUZ 16-9 on Mirage and 16-10 on Nuke.

Congratulations to ENCE for claiming the IEM Dallas 2023 trophy and giving us some extremely exciting matches to watch. For their win, they get $100,000 in prize money and a spot at IEM Cologne 2023.
