Following the Group Stage, we saw FaZe Clan led by the legendary Finn “Karrigan” Andersen, send Brazillian squad FURIA Esports packing with a clean 2-0, followed by a 2-1 victory over forZe, and a thrilling 2-1 reverse sweep against Na’Vi to make it to the grand final.

On the other side of the bracket, Cloud9 had to reverse sweep MOUZ for a 2-1 win and again had to pull off a reverse sweep against ENCE, making for two nailbiting matches to earn a spot at the ESL Pro League Season 17 grand final against FaZe Clan.

In the grand final of ESL Pro League Season 17, FaZe got off to a strong start, beating Cloud9 16-13 on Overpass, followed by a strong 16-9 on Inferno.

Cloud9 fought back to take Mirage with a 16-11 round score, but FaZe Clan kept their cool on Ancient to claim their third map and the title of ESL Pro League Season 17 champions.

For the win, FaZe Clan walks away with $200,000 in prize money, alongside direct invites to IEM Cologne 2023 and the BLAST World Final 2023. A big congratulations go out to Karrigan and his squad.
