The next massive CS:GO esports event, the ESL Pro League Season 16, starts this week for fans to enjoy. It is, of course, an S-Tier tournament featuring a considerable prize pool and the best teams in the world. ESL Pro League S16 details

The ESL Pro League Season 16 tournament is an offline event in Europe. It features 24 of the best teams in the world, fighting for a massive $835,000 prize pool. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that’s roughly R14.2 million.

The main event of the tournament starts with the group stage on Wednesday, 31 August 2022. ESL Pro League Season 16 runs until 2 September 2022, when a champion will be crowned. The group stage features four single round-robin groups of six teams each, where all matches are best-of-three.

The first-place teams advance to the Quarterfinals of ESL Pro League Season 16, while the 2nd and third-place teams advance to the Round of 12 in the playoffs. The rest are eliminated. Check out the teams in their respective groups below.
