ESL Impact League Season 2 results and final standings
Over the past weekend, ATK Arena’s female CS:GO team completed at the ESL Impact League Season 2’s LAN finals in Sweden for their share of the $123,000 prize pool. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that’s roughly R2.1 million. Here’s what went down, including the final standings and results.
ESL Impact League S2 results
ATK Female was knocked out in the group stage. In group B, ATK Female lost 16-8 against B4 Female on Inferno, and then got swept under the rug by 9 Pandas Fearless.
In the playoffs of ESL Impact League Season 2, we saw Nigma Galaxy Female knock out 9 Pandas Fearless to make it to the grand finals. On the other side of the bracket, FURIA Esports Female took out HSG with a clean 2-0 win.
In the grand finals, Nigma Galaxy Female got off to a flying start, beating FURIA Esports Female convincingly on Mirage with a 16-5 win. Despite FURIA’s best efforts, they lost 16-14 on Ancient as Nigma Galaxy Female became the ESL Impact League Season 2 champions.
Standings & prize distribution:
- 1st place – Nigma Galaxy Female wins $50,000.
- 2nd place – FURIA Esports Female wins $25,000.
- 3rd & 4th place – 9 Pandas Fearless and HSG win $13,000 each.
- 5th & 6th place – Counter Logic Gaming Red and B4 Esports Female win $7,000 each.
- 7th & 8th place – Evil Geniuses Gold and ATK Female win $4,000 each.
Despite ATK Female’s early exit from the ESL Impact League Season 2 LAN finals, it was still awesome to watch these local gamers compete on the international stage. We are sure they did get some great LAN experience from the losses and will become even stronger.
