BLAST Premier World Final 2022 details

Eight of the best CS:GO teams in the world (who qualified via various means) are competing for their share of the $1 million prize pool. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that’s roughly R17.3 million.

This is a LAN event taking place in the United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi) at the Etihad Arena in front of a live crowd. The stakes simply couldn’t be higher. It runs from 14 to 18 December 2022.

It all starts with a group stage featuring a double-elimination GSL-style format. All matches are best-of-three in the group stage. Winners of each group advance to the semifinals, while runners-up advance to the quarterfinals as the High Seeds. Teams who place third in their groups advance to the quarterfinals as the Low Seeds and the bottom team in each group is eliminated.

Group A teams:
  • FaZe Clan
  • Team Liquid
  • Outsiders
  • G2 Esports
Group B teams:
  • Na’Vi
  • Team Vitality
  • Heroic
  • OG

Following the group stage of BLAST Premier World Finals 2022, six teams will move on to the playoffs. This is a single-elimination bracket affair, with all matches being best-of-three.

You can catch all the action via the official BLASTPremier Twitch channel. Group stage matches start at 08:00 SAST each day. If you are just interested in the grand final, you should know it is scheduled to start on Sunday, 18 December, at noon SAST.
