A total of eight teams are competing. It all starts with a group stage featuring a double-elimination GSL-style format. All matches are best-of-three in the group stage. Winners of each group advance to the semifinals, while runners-up advance to the quarterfinals as the High Seeds. Teams who place third in their groups advance to the quarterfinals as the Low Seeds, and the bottom team in each group is eliminated.

Group A teams:

  • G2 Esports
  • Team Vitality
  • paiN Gaming
Group B teams:
  • BIG
  • Na’Vi
  • OG
  • ENCE

Following the group stage of BLAST Premier Spring Finals, six teams will move on to the playoffs. This is a single-elimination bracket affair, with all matches being best-of-three.

Teams will compete for their share of the $425,000 prize pool. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that’s roughly R6.5 million.

You can catch all the action via the official BLASTPremier Twitch channel. Group stage matches start at 11:00 SAST each day. If you are just interested in the grand final, well, then you should know it is scheduled to start on Sunday, 19 June at 18:30 SAST.

It will be exciting to see if recent Major winner FaZe Clan can maintain their form, or if Na’Vi, Vitality, G2 Esports, and more can claim this coveted crown. Remember, the winner also gets a spot at the BLAST Premier World Final, which features a massive $1 million prize pool.
