BLAST Paris Major 2023 Challengers Stage viewer’s guide

Next week Monday, 8 May 2023, the BLAST Paris Major 2023 begins with the Challengers Stage. It is the last CS:GO esports tournament before the release of Counter-Strike 2 and promises to be one of the most exciting Majors to date, taking place in Paris, France, at the Accor Arena. Here’s what you need to know so you don’t miss out on any of the action.

BLAST Paris Major Challenges Stage details

Following the RMR qualifying events per region, the BLAST Paris Major Challengers Stage runs from 8 to 11 May 2023, featuring sixteen (16) teams and only eight spots in the Legends Stage. This stage of competition features both Challengers and Contender Status teams.

Challenger teams:
  • Ninjas in Pyjamas
  • OG
  • GamerLegion
  • G2 Esports
  • Monte
  • paiN Gaming
  • FORZE Esports
  • Apeks
Contender teams:
  • FaZe Clan
  • MOUZ
  • Team Liquid
  • Grayhound Gaming
  • ENCE
  • Complexity Gaming
  • The MongolZ
  • Fluxo

The Format:
  • 16 Team Swiss System Format.
  • Elimination and Advancement matches are Bo3.
  • All other matches are Bo1.
  • The top 8 Teams proceed to The Legends Stage.
  • The bottom 8 Teams are eliminated.
