ATK CSGO at ESL Challenger League S45 NA playoffs this week

ATK Arena’s CS:GO squad, featuring South African player Gareth ” MisteM” Ries as the in-game leader (IGL), has made it to the ESL Challenger League Season 45 North America playoffs, and they will be competing this week. Here’s what you need to know.

From 22 to 26 May 2023, the ESL Challenger League Season 45 North America playoffs will take place, with eight teams fighting for their share of the $50,000 prize pool. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that’s roughly R970,000! The winner also gets a spot in the ESL Pro League Season 18, and everyone who made it to the playoffs remains in the ESL Challenger League for Season 46.

This is a double-elimination bracket with all matches being best-of-three, except for the grand finals. In the grand finals, the upper bracket team will have a one-map advantage in the best-of-five slugfest.

ATK’s first match in the ESL Challenger League S45 NA playoffs is against the Brazillian squad paiN Gaming. We wish them all the best of luck and hope to see ATK in the grand finals! The grand finals will take place on Saturday, 27 May 2023, at 01:00 SAST.
