Team Spirit win BLAST Bounty 2025 S2

At BLAST Bounty 2025 Season 2, the best Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) teams were fighting their hearts out for a piece of the $480,000 prize pool ($20k was awarded in the closed qualifier). With the unique prize pool system, where teams claim the bounties of those eliminated, sparks flew in Malta. Here’s how things went down.

BLAST Bounty 2025 S2 results

At the BLAST Arena Studios in Malta, we saw eight teams compete in the BLAST Bounty 2025 Season 2 Finals. The single-elimination bracket was do-or-die, with the lower-ranked teams picking their opponents.

On the one side of the bracket, it was Team Spirit who took down Virtus.pro with a 2-0 score, despite the maps being relatively close. Team Spirit then went on to beat MOUZ 2-0, with the first map requiring overtime.

The MongolZ took charge on the other side of the bracket, first beating Aurora Gaming 2-0, and then shocking the world by beating the favorites, Team Vitality, with a 2-0 score.

In the best-of-five Grand Final of BLAST Bounty 2025 Season 2, Team Spirit narrowly won on Nuke 13-11, then beat The MongolZ on Mirage during overtime with a 16-13 score, and finished off proceedings with a convincing 13-5 on Ancient to win 3-0.

Team Spirit’s star rifler, Danil “donk” Kryshkovets, earned his 10th MVP and looked fantastic in the Grand Final after underperforming just a bit in the previous matches.
