PGL Bucharest 2026 results & final standings

At the PGL Studios venue in Bucharest, Romania, fans watched on as some great Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) teams competed for their share of the huge $1.25 million prize pool (roughly R20.6 million) and a notable trophy. Here’s how things went down at PGL Bucharest 2026!

FUT wins first big event trophy

Keeping us on the edge of our seats, the Swiss System group stage saw the likes of FaZe Clan, NRG, BC.Game Esports and Legacy dropped out early, while it was Astralis and FUT Esports who shone the brightest with 3-0 records.

In the PGL Bucharest 2026’s single-elimination Playoffs Stage, it was FUT Esports who easily beat B8 with a 2-0 scoreline, and sent one of the favorites, The MongolZ, packing with another convincing 2-0 to make it to the Grand Final.

On the other side of the bracket, Astralis reverse-swept EYEBALLERS for a narrow 2-1 victory in the Quarterfinal, and took care of business against 3DMAX with a solid 2-0 showing for a spot in the Grand Final.

In the PGL Bucharest 2026 Grand Final, it was FUT Esports who came out swinging, first winning Ancient and Mirage with utterly convincing 13-5 scorelines.

Astralis pulled one back on Nuke, forcing overtime and eventually winning the map 16-14, thereby extending the series. On Dust2, however, FUT bounced back with vigor to win 13-3, closing out the Grand Final with a score of 3-1, and lifting the PGL Bucharest 2026 trophy.

FUT’s Mykyta “cmtry” Samolotov earned his first big-event MVP of his career. Congratulations!
