IEM Dallas 2025 important details

For a full week, we’ll see 16 of the best teams compete for their share of the $1 million prize pool. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that’s roughly R18.3 million!

The action begins with the Group Stage (19 to 22 May), with two double-elimination (GSL) groups of eight teams each, all matches best-of-three, and the top three from each advancing.

The Playoffs will take place at the iconic Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center from 23 to 25 May 2025. This is a single-elimination bracket affair, with first-placed teams from groups going straight to the Semifinals, second and third-placed teams playing Quarterfinals, and all matches are best-of-three except the Grand Final, which is best-of-five.

As reported and outlined by the CS2 esports expert at NLG, you can check out the IEM Dallas 2025 opening matchups for each group below. It’s the Quarterfinals upper-bracket matches, in case you were wondering.

Group A matchups:

  • Team Vitality vs. Legacy

  • Lynn Vision Gaming vs. G2 Esports

Group B matchups:

  • Team Liquid vs. FaZe Clan
