FURIA beats The MongolZ to win FISSURE Playground 2

With two significant Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) events finishing up on Sunday, 21 September 2025, we won’t blame you for missing one of them. If you watched StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2025 but missed FISSURE Playground 2, we’ve got you covered with the full results and final standings, so let’s leap in.

FISSURE Playground 2 results

FURIA, led by x2 Major Championship winner Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo, went 3-1 in the Swiss Stage and set the single-elimination Playoffs Stage on fire with a powerful display of force, sending Astralis packing with a 2-0, with 13-9 on Train and 19-15 on Nuke. FURIA then proceeded to smash Team Falcons with a 2-0 as well (16-12 on Train and 13-11 on Nuke) to make their way to the Grand Final.

On the other side of the bracket was The MongolZ, who qualified for the Playoffs Stage thanks to their 3-1 record in the Swiss Stage. The MongolZ managed to get past G2 Esports with a 2-1 win (13-11 on Mirage, 7-13 on Dust2, and 13-9 on Ancient) for a spot in the Grand Final.

In the FISSURE Playground 2 best-of-five Grand Final, FURIA won Mirage 16-13 in overtime, and The MongolZ won Inferno 13-11. FURIA then bounced back with a 16-12 overtime win on Nuke, and The MongolZ won Overpass 13-9. On the final map, Dust2, FURIA came out on top with a 13-5 score, thereby winning the series 3-2.
