ESL Pro League Season 23 LAN finals this weekend
After two exciting online stages (1 to 10 March), it’s time for the ESL Pro League Season 23‘s LAN final to take place, so cancel those weekend plans. It is, after all, the first time in many years that ESL Pro League has had a Playoffs in front of a huge crowd. Here’s what Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) fans must know about the Playoffs Stage matches.
ESL Pro League S23 Playoffs are set
We saw some huge upsets at ESL Pro League Season 23’s Stage 1 and 2, with the likes of PARIVISION falling in Stage 1, and favorites FURIA getting eliminated in Stage 2. Now, it’s time for the Playoffs Stage, and judging by what’s already happened, we are in for some bangers.
Eight teams have survived to compete on LAN in front of a crowd at the Annexet venue in Stockholm, Sweden. All matches are best-of-three, except for the Grand Final, which is best-of-five. At ESL Pro League Season 23, teams are competing for their share of the $1 million prize pool. That’s roughly R16 million at the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate.
