BIG EQUIPA wins ESL Impact League Season 8
From 28 to 30 November 2025, the best all-female Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) teams competed at DreamHack Stockholm to see who would come out on top at ESL Impact League Season 8.
Back in October 2025, the ESL Impact League was put on hold, as announced by tournament organizer ESL. This means that ESL Impact League Season 8 was essentially the final tournament of its kind until the series is revived.
With that out of the way, here’s what went down at Stockholm, Sweden, where the best all-female teams battled for glory.
BIG EQUIPA defeats MIBR Female
Starting in the Group Stage, it was Sakura Esports who topped Group A in style with a 2-0 record, while BIG EQUIPA took second place with a 2-1 record.
In Group B, NIP Impact impressed with a clean 2-0 record to claim first place, while MIBR Female earned a second-place finish, as favorites Imperial Female crashed out of the competition with a 0-2 record.
BIG EQUIPA took no prisoners in the Semifinals of the single-elimination bracket, smashing NIP Impact with a convincing 2-0 win. On the other side of the bracket, MIBR Female impressed by taking down Sakura Esports with an equally impressive 2-0 win.
In the best-of-three Grand Final, it was BIG EQUIPA who drew first blood, claiming Dust2 with a narrow 13-11 score. MIBR Female bounced back on Inferno to win 13-0. However, BIG EQUIPA finished off proceedings with a solid 13-9 win on Nuke to claim the ESL Impact League Season 8 trophy. Congratulations!
