Call of Duty League Championship 2024 viewer’s guide
There is no doubt that Call of Duty esports fans are in for a massive treat this weekend. Following four exciting Majors, it is time for the Call of Duty League (CDL) Championship 2024 event, where a world champion will be crowned. Here’s what you need to know.
CDL Championship 2024 details
Taking place at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, Texas, the top eight CDL 2024 teams from the regular season will compete in the Championship 2024 event in Modern Warfare III before the release of Black Ops 6.
The CDL Championship 2024 runs this weekend, from 18 to 21 July 2024. Since this is an event based in the US, the matches begin pretty late (21:00) each day for those in South Africa.
Eight teams are competing in a double-elimination bracket format, with seedings based on their performance during the 2024 season. All matches are best-of-five, with the exception of the Grand Finals, which is best-of-nine. The Championship bracket is locked in.
