Punishers Birthday Fortnite Duo Cup this week with R5,000 prize pool
If you are a local Fortnite fan that happens to have a good Duo partner, then you definitely shouldn’t miss out on the Punishers Birthday Duo Cup, from South African tournament organiser Elite Pro Series and local esports organization The Punishers. Here’s what you need to know.
Punishers Birthday Duo Cup details
All you need to do is head on over to the Elite Pro Series website, get a partner, and join in the action for the two qualifiers leading up to the main event. It is open to PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo and Mobile platforms.
There are two qualifiers leading up to the grand finals in the Punishers Birthday Duo Cup. These events are all taking place this week, ending with the Grand Finals on Sunday. There’s R5,000 in prize money up for grabs, with the exact prize pool distribution not available at the time of writing. Check out the schedule below.
The Schedule:
- Qualifier 1 – 20 April 2023
- Qualifier 2 – 22 April 2023
- Grand Final – 23 April 2023
There are 100 spots available in each qualifier, with registration starting at 16:30 SAST on the days, and closing at 17:30 SAST, so you need to be quick. Check-in time is also at 17:30 as the event gets underway. The game mode is Arena Duos, and three games will be played during each qualifier.
