PUBG Mobile Mauritius Series Announced

PUBG Mobile is an active title in Mauritius and Reunion. While most South African Facebook groups for the title limp to around 10,000 members, the Mauritian equivalent is well beyond 20,000 members.

Nighthawk Esports is one of the organisations ensuring there is an active competitive community for the title, and have announced their third series for PUBG Mobile.

Season three follows a ‘successful season two’ and brings more rewards for Mauritian players. The tournament is for squads of at least four players.

On the line is cash, products and vouchers. There is an entry fee of Rs 100 per player (or Rs 500 for a team with a reserve). That’s the equivalent of around R175 or $12.

The prizes listed include a Rs 15,000 cash prize pool (approximately R5,200 or $372) and Logitech products. Red Bull energy drinks, personalised team t-shirts, esports lounge vouchers and a whole lot more is also up for grabs. The cash prize pool is subject to player sign ups.

To register, teams should head over to the series’ announcement on Facebook and follow the instructions available there. A number of rules are also available via the post for potential competitors.

Registration closes on 16 May with matches scheduled to start on 20 May.
