Mettlestate Apex Legends and Fortnite cups taking place this weekend

Another weekend brings a few more South African esports tournaments from Mettlestate in partnership with ASUS ROG. This coming weekend, local gamers can take part in Apex Legends and Fortnite cups.

For those who’ve been seeing a Mettlestate Magic the Gathering: Arena tournament, note that this tournament has been postponed due to a big international tournament taking place this weekend.

Apex Legends Duos cup

The Apex Legends Duos console cup is open for PS4 gamers, and you can grab a friend right now to enter. Registrations are free, so head on over to the cup’s Mettlestate page to enter. There’s R2,000 on the line.

The prize pool distribution is:
  • 1st place – R800
  • 2nd place – R600
  • 3rd place – R400
  • 4th place – R200

The Mettlestate Apex Legends Duos cup kicks off this coming Saturday, 18 July 2020, at 15:00 SAST.

Fortnite Duos cup

Grab a friend and register for the Fortnite Duos cup for free by heading to its Mettlestate page. There’s R2,000 up for grabs.

The prize pool distribution is:
  • 1st place – R800
  • 2nd place – R600
  • 3rd place – R400
  • 4th place – R200

The Fortnite Duos cup kicks off on Saturday, 18 July 2020 at 15:00 SAST. It is open to PC, PS4, Xbox One and Mobile gamers.
