9z Team wins XSE Pro League 2026
Following the IEM Cologne Major 2026, many of the top teams took a much-deserved break as the inevitable roster shuffle occurred. However, the XSE Pro League 2026, which took place in China, delivered some fantastic Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) esports action for fans to devour in the offseason.
In case you didn’t know, 9z Team shot up the ranks following their fantastic performance in Germany and came into the XSE Pro League 2026 as one of the favorites.
With a hometown advantage, TYLOO took charge in the Swiss Stage to score a 3-0 record, alongside BetBoom Team, who also went flawless. 9z Team narrowly made it to the Playoffs Stage with a 3-2 record, but appeared to power up when they hit the Playoffs Stage.
In the Quarterfinals of the single-elimination Playoffs Stage, 9z Team sent TYLOO packing after a 2-1 slugfest, and managed to secure another close 2-1 win against Alliance to earn a spot in the Grand Final. On the other side of the bracket, PARIVISION went on an amazing run, reverse-sweeping BIG in the Quarterfinals, and reverse-sweeping FaZe Clan in the Semifinals.
In the Grand Final of XSE Pro League 2026, 9z Team didn’t give PARIVISION room to breath. They ended up winning 3-0, with 13-9 on Mirage, 13-10 on Inferno, and 13-4 on Dust2. Congratulations!
