Are you ready for the Esports World Cup 2026 mega-event to begin in Paris? Well, ready or not, here comes the first tournament, featuring VALORANT! Here’s what you must know so you don’t miss out on any of the top-tier VALORANT esports action.

EWC 2026 VALORANT Details

Taking place at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles venue in Paris, France, the EWC 2026 VALORANT event runs from 2 to 12 July 2026. Yes, there’s lots of VALORANT esports action to consume this weekend, so strap in!

Teams are competing for their share of the huge $2 million prize pool. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that’s roughly R33 million. It all begins with the Group Stage, which runs from 2 to 7 July 2026.

There are four double-elimination, GSL-style groups of four teams each, with all matches BO3. The top two teams from each group advance to the Playoffs Stage. From 9 to 12 July 2026, the final eight teams will duke it out in a single-elimination bracket format. All matches are BO3, except for the Grand Final, which is BO5.
