VCT 2026 China Stage 2 viewer’s guide

With the dust slowly settling over Masters London and the historic victory of Leviatán, we turn our attention to the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) Stage 2 events. The first event to begin is VCT 2026 China Stage 2, so let’s take a look at the vital details fans must know.

Important VCT 2026 China Stage 2 Details

The VCT 2026 China Stage 2 event starts on 9 July and runs until September. The action begins with a Group Stage featuring all 12 teams. There are two groups of six teams each, and the top two teams from each group advance directly to the Playoffs Stage, while others compete in the Play-In stage alongside two teams from the China National tournament.

When both the Group Stage and Play-In Stage finish up, the eight remaining teams will compete in the double-elimination Playoffs Stage, where all matches are best-of-three, except for the Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final, which are best-of-five.

Teams are competing for two spots at the crowning Champions Shanghai. There’s a $250,000 prize pool to fight for as well. At the current Dollar-to-Rand exchange rate, that’s roughly R4.2 million. Not bad, not bad at all!
