FaZe Vegas wins CDL 2026 Stage 2 Major

Sparks flew at the BP Pulse LIVE venue in Birmingham, United Kingdom, as the best Call of Duty esports teams across the globe converged to fight for glory in front of the DreamHack crowd. Here’s what went down at the CDL 2026 Stage 2 Major, in case you missed it.

CDL 2026 Stage 2 Major results

Competing for their share of the huge $365,000 prize pool (roughly R6.2 million) and a heap of CDL Points, the world’s 10 best teams fought tooth and nail at CDL 2026 Stage 2 Major.

FaZe Vegas started their journey in the double-elimination bracket in dramatic fashion, first reverse-sweeping LA Thieves with a 3-2 scoreline that kept fans on the edge of their seats. The squad then took care of business against Stage 1 Major winners, Paris Gentle Mates, sweeping them under the rug with a 3-0 score.

OpTic Texas stopped FaZe Vegas in their tracks in the Upper Bracket Final, beating them 3-1 to secure a spot in the Grand Final. In the Lower Bracket, FaZe Vegas took out Toronto KOI 3-1 for a spot in the Grand Final.

In the best-of-seven CDL 2026 Stage 2 Major Grand Final, teams went 1-1, trading blows. However, FaZe Vegas pulled ahead, winning three in a row for a 4-1 victory, thereby claiming the top spot and lifting the coveted trophy.

FaZe Vegas’ Jovan “04” Rodriguez was named the MVP of the tournament. Congratulations!
