In 2025, over 3,000 local gamers competed, signaling a massive increase in community support across Africa. Yup, ACGL Seasons are that big!
ACGL Season 3 games, format, and prizes
In ACGL Season 3, there are more titles and a massive R80,000 combined prize pool. There’s truly something for everyone, from battle royale to mobile football, fighting games, and new additions: Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) and Tekken!
“ACGL Seasons was developed to establish stability, recognition, and reward in our local Esports ecosystem. In a space as ever-growing and changing as the South African Esports industry, we looked at a way to bring about structure, consistency, and equal opportunity across the board.”
A select few of these titles will also transition into ACGL’s flagship event, the African Gaming Championship (AGC), set to take place in July.
