No, there’s also the Warzone battle royale tournament taking place this week, featuring the best Trios teams in the business. Let’s drop in and take a look.
EWC 2025 Warzone event details
The Warzone tournament at the EWC 2025 takes place live in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from 6 to 9 August 2025. Competitors are duking it out for their share of the $1 million prize pool. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that’s nearly R18 million.
The action begins with the Group Stage, where the 21 teams are split into three groups of seven teams each. The top seven teams advance straight to the finals, while the other 14 advance to the last chance stage. During the last chance stage, we’ll see the top seven advance to the Finals, and the bottom seven get eliminated.
In the Finals stage of the EWC 2025 Warzone event, we’ll see teams compete with no match limit until a team reaches the Match Point Eligible status. The first team that wins a game after becoming Match Point Eligible is declared the winner. After a champion is found, the other standings are determined through their point rankings.
