Fortnite pro hits longest IRL elimination, breaking world record
A Guinness World Record for the longest frag in Fortnite history has been scored by a pro player, Martin “MrSavage†Foss Andersen. This is an in-real-life (IRL) record, where the player uses a mouse and keyboard, and a x100 zoom telescope to hit an elimination from a screen that is over a kilometer away.
To be precise, Martin “MrSavage†Foss Andersen scored an elimination at a distance of 1,161.31 meters, setting a Guinness World Record. The attempts and eventual success were filmed by Red Bull in Norway, on the snow-covered mountains of Lofoten.
For the sake of clarity, this is an IRL record, with the distance being between MrSavage and the screen, hence the need for a x100 zoom telescope. A press release we’ve received explains the process and challenges.

Armed with only a 32-inch monitor, mouse, keyboard, and a high-powered telescope boasting 100x zoom, MrSavage faced subzero temperatures, pitch-black darkness, and countless failed attempts as he aimed to secure a Fortnite elimination from an unprecedented 1,161.31 meters away.
