Greybeard 1v1 Invitational challenge with R8k prize pool
Local MC and content creator Ryan “Greybeard” Hogarth, in partnership with South African tournament organizer African Cyber Gaming League (ACGL), is bringing you a fantastic Rocket League esports event that no one should miss out on. Here’s what you need to know about the Greybeard 1v1 Invitational Rocket League challenge featuring a huge prize pool!
Greybeard 1v1 Invitational details
First and foremost, you can head on over to the Greybeard 1v1 Invitational page on ACGL’s website to enter the five qualifiers. Registration is completely free of charge; all you need is a free ACGL account that takes mere minutes to create.
From here, you can enter the qualifiers, where you will compete in 1v1 Rocket League matches. The gamers with the most points will go onto the grand finale event. Check out the qualifier schedule below.

The grand finale of the Greybeard 1v1 Invitational takes place on 6 October 2024. It features a base prize pool of R8,000, with the following prize pool distribution:
- 1st place – R3500
- 2nd place – R2000
- 3rd place – R750
- 4th place – R750
- 5th place – R250
- 6th place – R250
- 7th place – R250
- 8th place – R250
If the community goals are reached, another R2,000 can be added to the prize pool. Check out the community goals below.
- R1000 will be added to the Prize Pool should the Finale Stream reach 100 Viewers.
- R1000 will be added to the Prize Pool should we receive 32 or more check-ins for 3 out of the 5 Qualifiers.
