The Toyota Gaming Engine’s esports at CCCT 2024
The Toyota Gaming Engine (TTGE) is at it again, bringing esports to Comic Con Cape Town 2024 in a big way. Yes, you will be able to compete in a variety of exciting tournaments if you are attending the event. Here’s what you need to know.
TTGE Esports at Comic Con Cape Town 2024
You can experience some fun, competitive events thanks to TTGE at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) from 27 April to 1 May 2024. TTGE will have an area on the floor where gamers can register and compete for free in the following titles:
- Street Fighter 6
- Gran Turismo 7
- Clash Royale
- Brawl Stars
Despite free entry to compete in one or all of these events, you can win your share of R2,000 in Takealot vouchers daily. There’s also a Beat the Pro challenge, where local gamers can go up against pro esports players for a chance at winning an R3,000 Takealot voucher.
Glenn Crompton, the Vice President of Marketing for Toyota South Africa, explained that:
“Comic Con Cape 2023 was an unforgettable weekend, and we couldn’t be more excited for the next edition. We’ve added more exciting game titles for esports lovers to enjoy at the Toyota Gaming Engine stand. The Gran Turismo 7 sim rigs will always be my favourite though, as they allow car enthusiasts of all ages to get a life-like experience of driving our high-performance Toyota vehicles.”
