ACGL’s Mythic Madness is underway with over R75k in prizes

South African tournament organizer African Cyber Gaming League (ACGL) has outdone itself this time with the Mythic Madness event in collaboration with partners Antec, Crucial, MSI, and Redragon. In total, there’s R50,000 in cash to be won, alongside over R25,000 in products. Here’s what you need to know.

ACGL Mythic Madness details

Mythic Madness is already underway over at ACGL, and you should definitely check out the landing page for the event. First up, everything is completely free to enter. All you need to do is register for an account at ACGL, which only takes a couple of minutes.

There are four houses in the Mythic Madness event, and everyone can get allocated to one. Join one by visiting the landing page mentioned above. At the end of the day, players from the winning house will get entered into a random draw with the following prizes.

• Winner 1: R5,000
• Winner 2: R3,000
• Winner 3: R2,000

ACGL explains: “To earn points for your house, you can compete in matches on the site, reach social media goals, find your house’s mythic creature hidden on the site, equip your house’s avatar (coming soon) and more. Each house will have two captains who will be hyping and streaming their house from now until the end of December. We will take a short breather and early in the new year, the various winners will be announced.”

From now until 18 December 2022, there are 20 cash cups to participate in as well, each with a R2,000 prize pool So how do you get points for your house? Well, ACGL outlined the tasks and points in their announcement, which we’ve added to this article for your convenience.

Mythic Madness Points:

• 10 points awarded to your house for each match won.
• Social media goals for #HouseMSI, #HouseCrucial, #HouseAntec and #HouseRedragon. Remember to use your house’s hashtag and #MythicMadness to gain points:
  • 25,000 Social Reach: 500 Bonus Points
  • 50,000 Social Reach: 1,000 Bonus Points
  • 100,000 Social Reach: 1,200 Bonus Points
  • 200,000 Social Reach: 1,500 Bonus Points
  • 300,000 Social Reach: 2,000 Bonus Points
  • 400,000 Social Reach: 3,000 Bonus Points
• Hunt your Brand: 50 points when you find your house’s Mythic Creature hidden on the site.
• 20 points awarded when you equip your house’s avatar.

Lastly, you can also earn Embers for every match completed via ACGL. You can use these Embers to enter Mythic loot random giveaways where around R25,000 in products will be up for grabs.
