With the IEM Rio Major 2022 now complete, and the BLAST Premier Fall Final on the horizon, there’s another CS:GO esports event taking place this week that fans should take notice of. We are talking about the Elisa Masters Espoo 2022 event. Here are all the essential details.
Elisa Masters Espoo details
Elisa Masters Espoo 2022 is an offline LAN event, seen as an S-Tier tournament. It will take place in Finland at the Espoo Metro Arena, running this week from 16 to 20 November 2022.
A total of 12 CS:GO esports teams will compete for their share of the $200,000 prize pool. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that’s roughly R3.5 million. There are some big names in attendance, including Astralis, MOUZ and more.

The tournament begins with two round-robin format groups. Each group has six teams, and all matches are best-of-one. The top three teams from each group advance to the playoffs, with the winners moving to the semifinals, the 2nd place finishers to the quarterfinals as the high seeds, and the 3rd place finishers to the quarterfinals as the low seeds.
The playoffs is a single-elimination bracket with all matches, including the grand final, being best-of-three.
