There is no shortage of CS:GO esports action for fans to enjoy with the BLAST Premier Fall Groups starting this weekend. The BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022 features some of the best teams in the world, of course, and it all starts on Friday, 19 August 2022. So you don’t miss a second of the action, we’ve got a viewer’s guide prepared with the important details.

BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022 details

There are spots in the Fall Showdown and Fall Finals up for grabs, which could lead teams to the massive World Final. While this is probably the biggest prize for most teams, there’s also a prize pool of $177,498 for teams to compete over. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that’s roughly R2.9 million.

This is an offline event taking place in Copenhagen, Denmark. Like the previous seasons, the twelve teams are split into three groups of four teams per group. Check out the tournament format below as per Liquipedia.

Group Stage:

  • Three double-elimination (GSL) format groups
  • Each group has 4 teams
  • All matches are Bo1
  • All teams advanced to the seeded Play-In Stage

Play-In Stage:

  • Three Single-Elimination gauntlets
  • All matches are Bo3
  • Winner from each gauntlet advances to the Fall Finals
  • Second and third teams from each gauntlet advance to the Last Chance Stage
  • Fourth team from each gauntlet advance to the Fall Showdown

Last Chance Stage:

  • Single-Elimination bracket
  • All matches are Bo3
  • Winners advance to the Fall Finals
  • Losers proceed to the Fall Showdown
