VCT 2024 China Kickoff viewer’s guide
The newest region in the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) has its very first Kickoff event starting this week. We’ve already covered the Americas, Pacific, and EMEA Kickoff events for VCT 2024, and now it’s time to look at China! Here’s what you need to know.
VCT 2024 China Kickoff details
Taking place at the Valo Arena in Shanghai, China, the VCT 2024 China Kickoff is an exciting event for both fans and the top esports teams in the region. The event begins on Thursday, 22 February, and runs until Saturday, 2 March 2024. 11 teams are competing in the VCT 2024 China Kickoff event. Check out the full list of all 11 teams competing below.

- Titan Esports Club
- TYLOO
- All Gamers
- JD Gaming
- Nova Esports
- Trace Esports
- Dragon Ranger Gaming
- Wolves Esports
These teams will compete for only two spots in the upcoming Masters Madrid event in March 2024. The winner will also get three (3) VCT China points. The tournament starts with a Group Stage (double-elimination GSL-style groups format), then a Play-In stage, and finally, a single-elimination bracket playoffs, where the semifinals are best-of-three and the grand final is best-of-five.
